San Diego TX Fire Dept. San Diego Fire Department - FIRE, RESCUE, EMS Defined as being an "ALL Hazards" agency.

The San Diego Fire Department provides fire protection to over 7,000 residents in a 600 sq mile area in both Duval and Jim Wells counties. The SDFD strives to provide the most adequate and efficient fire and rescue protection to meet the needs of our residents, visitors and firefighters.

This afternoon, public safety professionals at the Regional Center for Public Safety Excellence successfully completed the TEEX ICS 300 course! 👏

This advanced training strengthens their ability to manage incidents within a unified command structure, enhance coordination across agencies, and lead effectively during complex emergency situations.

Today was a productive day at the 2026 Collins Parr Elementary career fair.

We engaged with students of all grade levels,

discussing the community service provided by

volunteer firefighters. I was accompanied by

SDPD Police Chief Santos and K-9 Lcord.

Chief Soliz had the privilege to teach some 8th graders CPR.

The Principles of health science 8th grade class joined Chief soliz at city hall to get trained on CPR.

Students learned Adult child and infant CPR as well as how to use an AED and how to releave choking.

Curriculum taught was though American Heart Association basic life support course .
