San Diego County Taxpayers Association

San Diego County Taxpayers Association The San Diego County Taxpayers Association is a non-profit, non-partisan organization, dedicated to promoting efficient use of tax payer dollars.

Hundreds of community leaders, business managers, and concerned citizens belong to and support SDCTA because they believe in its mission and endorse its goal of promoting accountable, cost-effective and efficient government. Over the past six decades the SDCTA's fiscal policy research and advocacy efforts have saved the region's taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars. Public opinion polls consi

stently rate the SDCTA as the most "influentialโ€ and โ€œtrustedโ€ public policy institution in San Diego. This powerful position often puts the SDCTA at the forefront of some of the most important and, at times, controversial initiatives in our community. Despite the challenges, the SDCTA continues to effectively protect our region's individual and business taxpayers. Key to the continued success of the Association is our detailed analysis and independent approach to every issue. SDCTA has worked hard to earn the trust of the public and we take this responsibility seriously. The voters have placed their faith in the SDCTA and we will continue to provide them with accurate, unbiased information to enable them to make informed decisions.

Does Spending on School Facilities Lead to Better Student Outcomes? ๐ŸŒŸ

San Diego County recently passed significant bonds to improve local schools in addition to the statewide bond, Prop 2, which will provide $10 billion in funding for districts across California. But here's the big question: Will investing in infrastructure truly impact student learning? ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿซ
