Join us in Spring Valley on Saturday, June 27, 2026, for the Unincorporated San Diego Residential Cleanup Event at Faith Chapel (9400 Campo Road, Spring Valley, CA 91977) from 8am – 12pm or until capacity is reached. The event will have FREE mulch available, paper shredding, and will accept reusable items for donation. This event is open to Unincorporated San Diego County residents only.

The following items will be accepted:
- Bulky items (furniture, broken appliances, etc.)
- Recyclable materials (cardboard, aluminum, hard plastic, glass)
- Green waste
- Mattresses and box springs
- Scrap metal
- Tires up to 9 passenger tires per vehicle. Please call 1-877-713-2784 to request preapproval for loads of more than 9 tires. No tires with rims will be accepted. No tires from businesses.

The following items will NOT be accepted:
- Household Hazardous Waste (batteries, paint, chemicals, lightbulbs, car oil/antifreeze, household cleaners, etc.)
- Construction Materials
- Business Waste

Get a free oil filter when you recycle your used one on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10am – 1pm. The used oil from one oil change can contaminate one million gallons of fresh water. Do your part for your community and recycle your used oil and oil filter together!

FREE Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and E-Waste collection event on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 9am to 1 pm at Campo Road Station (970 Forrest Road).
HHW includes things like paint, household cleaners and other chemicals, propane, batteries, cellphones, printers, computers, motor oils, and LED & fluorescent light bulbs.
Restrictions apply, please visit www.sdhhw.org for materials accepted and more details.
