Housing & Independent Living: Stability & Security
✨ How FDD Invests in the Community
Housing stability is foundational to independence.
Through our Housing & Independent Living pillar, FDD supports accessible and affordable housing initiatives and transitional programs that help individuals and families build safe, stable living environments. These investments help individuals and families build safe, stable living environments.
💙 Reflecting our value of Stewardship, we prioritize long-term solutions that create lasting impact and strengthen community stability.
In partnership with organizations like Villa de Vida, Noah Homes, and Fred Finch Youth & Family Services, FDD is expanding access to safe and supportive housing. To date, FDD has allocated $1.5 million for housing initiatives, including $502,000 to Vista Lane, where 18 affordable housing units are reserved for individuals with I/DD.
Additionally, FDD has provided $1.92 million in emergency assistance to San Diego Regional Center clients and their families, helping ensure housing stability during times of critical need.

Ribbon cut. New chapter unlocked. 🎉🐴
On Sunday, we were honored to join XO Ranch to celebrate brand-new safety and infrastructure improvements, including upgraded fencing, arena panels, and pasture safety gates that strengthen their equine-assisted programs and expand access for individuals with disabilities.
FDD Capital Funding helped make it happen, and watching it come to life was everything.
XO Ranch is doing something truly special. Their programs help individuals build confidence, independence, and connection in ways that are hard to put into words, but you can feel it the moment you arrive. This new infrastructure isn't just an upgrade. It's an expansion of possibility.
