What a beautiful recital it was — pianists, violinists, singers, guitarists, harpists, our young bassoon and saxophone players, and every other musician who took the stage. Every single one of you was wonderful.
Every child in our recital put in months of practice, conquered nerves, and stepped up to share something they love. That's real courage. That's real growth. And that's exactly the kind of musician — and person — we hope each of our students will become. 💕
A huge thank you to our entire K&M faculty for their dedication, patience, and masterful teaching, and to every family for believing in your child's musical journey. We are so grateful to share these moments with you.

🎶 Please join us in welcoming Anthony d'Conde to the K&M Music School faculty!

Anthony is a Juilliard-trained percussionist, conductor, and educator with over 25 years of international experience — and we could not be more excited to have him here in San Diego.

A few highlights from his remarkable career:

🥁 Bachelor's and Master's from The Juilliard School
🥁 Former Principal Timpani & Percussion, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra
🥁 Founded the Percussion Department at Xinghai Conservatory of Music — the first foreign music professor in Mainland China certified to teach postgraduate percussion
🥁 Founder and Artistic Director of the International Percussion Philharmonic
🥁 Currently performs with Lamb's Players Theatre in Coronado

At K&M, Anthony will be teaching percussion, drum set, conducting, composition, music theory, and ear training — for students of every age and level, from young beginners to pre-college musicians preparing for conservatory auditions.

Whether you've been curious about percussion or you have a serious young musician who needs conservatory-level mentorship, this is a rare opportunity to study with a teacher of Anthony's caliber right here in San Diego.
