Serving the San Diego Military Community since 1993, our resource center offers FREE programs, essential resource referrals, and FREE family-friendly activities every week for the military-connected community. Located in the Murphy Canyon housing community, we provide confidential, safe, coordinated services that will lead to improved developmental, academic and social outcomes for children, and a

positive quality of life for their families. Our primary services include:

Hi everyone! 💚

Our weekly playgroups and gardening groups will be on hiatus beginning tomorrow, August 20, 2026.

If you’d like to be notified when these groups are back up and running, please complete our interest form. https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/caa5Yd5xby

In the meantime, our Resource Center will remain open and available to provide resource support to families. We’ve also attached a list of playgroups in the area that may be available while our groups are on hiatus. Please be sure to confirm that the group is still active before attending.

Say San Diego Military Family Resource Center is proud to partner with the San Diego Symphony* to provide complimentary tickets to select concerts throughout the season! This program is to honor the sacrifices made by our military servicemembers, veterans, and their families! A limited number of tickets are available and are lottery-based. Submissions will be accepted thru August 2, 2026. Winners will be contacted by end of business day, August 3, 2026.

Mark your calendars! We are teaming up with Blue Star Families of Southern California for a super fun Summer Social! We'll have food, fun, music, activities and prizes! You can also pick up a backpack and school supplies for FREE (while supplies last). Come meet the neighbors, check out the center and relax before the school year starts!
