Thank you, Gallagher, for creating such a special opportunity for Special Olympics SoCal athlete Finley Silverman to take the mound for the San Diego Padres ceremonial first pitch at Petco Park! ⚾️

Finley has been competing in Special Olympics SoCal since the age of 8 and now participates in golf, tennis, and flag football. We couldn’t be more proud to see him representing our athlete community on such an incredible stage.

Today the Eastlake High Titans hosted the Sweetwater Union High School District for a fun day of learning, collaborating, and planning for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Students and teacher from the district’s middle and high schools rotated around stations learning about each of the Unified Champion School components, played games, learned about different disabilities, ate pizza and ended the day by celebrating under a balloon drop 🎉. Looking forward to seeing all the events and activities the Sweetwater schools will host next school year!! 🤩
