Patricia Mondragón, Gerente Regional de Políticas de Alliance San Diego, instó a los Supervisores a aprobar una “ordenanza que envíe un mensaje claro de que San Diego defiende los derechos, la dignidad y el debido proceso para todos”

This week, the San Diego County Board of Supervisors advanced directives related to immigration enforcement, decisions that will impact how our region treats immigrant families and communities.

Patricia Mondragon, Regional Policy Manager with Alliance San Diego, urged Supervisors to pass an “ordinance that sends a clear message that San Diego stands for rights, dignity, and due process for all.”

We believe in a San Diego where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. ✊🏽✨

Public safety depends on police transparency. We know federal agents use loopholes to collaborate on immigration arrests in our communities. The public has a right to know how the city's resources are being used. A big thank you to Councilmember Sean Elo-Rivera leading the way with the Due Process and Safety Ordinance, which passed 9-0 unanimously in the City Council yesterday!
