BIG NEWS: The Higher Education Access Program is officially open!

Colleges & Universities: The Expression of Intent application is now live. Join a national network of institutions expanding opportunities for students of refugee background. Submit by December 1, 2025, to welcome refugee students as part of the 2026-2027 program cohort.

Students: The application portal is open! If you resettled in the U.S. after January 1, 2021, and live in one of 18 states, you may qualify to pursue your undergraduate degree with program support. Apply by October 22, 2025.

💡 Imagine opening your SDG&E bill and seeing $3,000. That’s what happened to one refugee father of five here in San Diego. He felt hopeless — until he came to us.

Through our Team & Change program, our case manager Idris worked with him step by step. Together, they reduced that $3,000 bill all the way down to $0. 💚

And that’s just one example of how Team & Change is making a real difference. Our program helps refugees and immigrants:
