Greetings Gaggle Girls.
Incase you’re wondering where Christina has been and why this page has been so quiet…
Christina has been quite unwell with a mystery illness that caused neurological and movement challenges, but she is fighting her way back to good health one day at a time.
She didn’t want to post anything in the middle of her crisis phase as she did not know what it was and whether she was going to get better at one point…

There was a time a year ago that she could barely walk, and also struggled to talk and move without great effort.

It wasnt’ a stroke and it all occurred after what seemed like a simple trip to a local ER and an overnight stay there.

Driving was out of the question and she was confined to bed for a few months.
She is slowly on the road to wellness thanks to various holistic treatments, lots of prayer and a loving husband .
We hope you are all doing well and socializing with the ladies you met through this group.😊

We want to thank Jana for hosting the MAY 2022 Gaggle Girls Restaurant social below at Tio Leo's in Poway.🥳

Everyone had a lovely time reconnecting and meeting new friends.

We are happy to announce I will be hosting a Wednesday night dinner social on 31st August at 6:30pm at a venue in Scripps Ranch (please see the details within private group mentioned below).🥳

To attend - go into the Gaggle Girls Restaurant Wednesday night group and look for the event there to sign up.

Please do cancel attendance if you cannot attend for anyone reason so that our total reservation count is accurate.
Keep in mind we also have a non FB email group whose names will not be listed on the attendees list you see within the Facebook restaurant group, therefore the total count of attendees is not only what you may see listed on Facebook.
We have around 150 members who are not on Facebook at all and will confirm via email.

Having lived in many different countries, I am still so grateful for the freedoms I have in this country.

Freedoms that are very precious and unique that deserve to be celebrated!

Our first Gaggle Girls social at the end of March (Saturday), was a special time of reconnecting with old friends, and catching up on everything everyone has been doing since the Covid twilight zone entered our lives 2 years ago.

It's scary how quickly time flies by, and it reminds me how we must cherish the time that we do have. Life is truly a gift. And while it has been a challenging 2 years for most, there still have been many positives that many ladies have taken from this experience, like having more time to do many things they just didn't have time for before.

We laughed at the comfort eating, baking and weight gain issues we find ourselves battling. I gained 20 pounds myself and have to admit it has been a monumental struggle to get rid of...but step by step it is SLOWLY disappearing. Glacial, but moving in the right direction.

It was fun listening to those that have been traveling the country discovering all the USA has to offer .
This country has so many beautiful parks and subcultures to explore, and I am so inspired to continue to explore this year and next.

Thanks to Covids international travel restrictions, it forced many of us to take alternate travel paths.
The road less traveled has been a blessing to experience - allowing us to see more of our own country that we may never have discovered until the restrictions forced alternate paths.

Regarding Future GG Socials:
Gaggle Girls received text messages, and emails from many ladies in our group requesting a dinner social, and we have good news on that front.

Our lovely Gaggle Girl member, Jana will be hosting the MAY 4th Wednesday night dinner at 6:30pm.
The details will be posted within the GAGGLE GIRLS Wednesday night dinner GROUP.
If you are not already a member of that group, please join so you can reserve a spot for that meetup.

We ask for everyone to try and make your attendance known at least a week prior, and even reserve sooner than later, so that Jana can reserve an accurate number of seating's for that event.

If you cannot for some reason attend, please remember to cancel inside of the DINNER Wednesday night Group, so that Jana can make adjustments with the restaurant.

I highly recommend reserving a spot sooner than later, as there will be a limit on the total number of people that can attend.

There is no charge for this social - you just pay your own way at the restaurant.

These socials are always casual, fun and relaxed - so please do consider coming to gaggle a bit with our friendly group.

Hello Gaggle Girls🙂

It has been a while since we all gathered together for a social.
And since Covid seems to be on the decline, and we've had a few people reach out to us asking when the socials will resume, we thought we'd start with a Starbucks gathering next Saturday morning.

Can you believe the photo below was taken just before we were all locked up for what's now been 2 years!

Crazy how long it has been, but life must go on, so we will start with this cozy social and see how we go.

We hope you are all doing well, and are so looking forward to catching up.

Just come when you can and leave when you need to -
absolutely No pressure. We are ALL RUSTY with human interaction, and that's ok. Practice will be good for us all to evolve from hermits (guilty as charged!)

This is just about having a cup of coffee or tea and chatting with old or soon to be new friends.

Gaggle Girls wishes all our special friends a very special Thanksgiving, and wants each of you to know you are significant in this world, and to our group of gaggles.

We so look forward to being able to socialize in person as a group again.

Hang in there, and please do reach out to someone if you are not coping, or just need someone to talk to.

I also want to say that I am so very thankful for all of you who truly have enriched my life, and the many other ladies lives in this group.😊

Happy Friday Gaggle Girls😊

Doesn't feel like sunny San Diego with the rain does it. 😎
But...we are certainly grateful for much needed free water.🌧

While we have been quiet online the last few weeks, we still remain committed to continuing to be a conduit to connecting local ladies together make authentic friendships.

We are thrilled to have played a part in that for so many ladies locally, and look forward to continuing even more so, once this trying health issue is behind us.

And it will be, so we all need to hang in there and remain hopeful for better days.😊

Our 2021 July gathering was a great success and it was wonderful to see familiar and new faces at our local girl gathering.

GAGGLE GIRLS - SATURDAY, J U L Y 31st - Local SOCIAL at our usual STARBUCKS location

Hello ladies!

We are looking forward to seeing those of you coming to our FIRST official group Gaggle Girls gathering tomorrow. YAY!!!

You know its been 16 months since we last had an official group gathering...
last one was March 2020 which was a dinner at the Himalayan Restaurant (Scripps Ranch), and then came the lockdown.

Gaggle Girls - local social COFFEE 'n CONVERSATION Gathering:

Tomorrow SATURDAY - July 31st -
Starting at 9am - 11am, at STARBUCKS
12245 Scripps Poway Pkwy, POWAY 92064

Arrive and leave when you want. No pressure.
We are all feeling a bit like agoraphobics but we cannot be apart forever.

Set some time aside for you to come and mingle. Don't be shy, or anxious - remember we are all feeling the same as you after being hermits for a long, long time.

It takes practice, it takes courage, but we must learn to be social again -
because it is a crucial part of good mental wellness and well, just being a happier human.

Make sure you don't go to the "other" Poway location.
This Starbucks is on border of Scripps and Poway, near Tio Leo's and Chevron off Scripps Poway Parkway.

As a reminder - Those who prefer to wear masks must, and those who don't, won't.
The rules seem to change weekly and it's hard to keep up.

We are really look forward to seeing you - old friends and new ones - come on down.
