Cub Scout Pack 629 Pack 629 is part of the Black Mountain District, San Diego-Imperial Council. We are a self-chartered

We are a self-chartered Cub Scout organization serving boys and families in the Rancho Penasquitos area since 2003. We follow a year-round, family-oriented program, promoting the Cub Scout motto “Do Your Best” and providing a wide variety of fun activities and positive experiences to Scouts and their families. Pack meetings are typically held on the third or fourth Monday of each month. The progra

m for the meeting may focus on a theme applicable to Cub Scouts at all levels – examples include wildlife conservation, leave no trace guidelines, health and safety. There are also games, skits, songs, ceremonies, and recognition of completed achievements. In addition to the monthly Pack meeting, special events are planned throughout the year. These include a Pinewood Derby, Blue and Gold Banquet, hikes and camping, community service events, and other field trips and special outings designed for family fun. From now through Jan 19, Cub Scouts Pack 629 are collecting backpacks/duffel bags, blankets, adults clothing, small unused toiletries, new socks/underwear (mostly adults/men sizes) for San Diego’s urban poor and homeless. If you have any of the above items to donate, please contact us here or email me. We will pick them up and donate and distribute directly to the needy through The Ladle Fellowship.
