First 5 San Diego, in partnership with the Dr. Seuss Foundation, presents their "Talk, Read, Sing" event at the San Diego Central Library. They are inviting families from across San Diego to celebrate National Literacy Month on Saturday, September 26th, from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. This free, family-friendly event will have bilingual story time, free book giveaways, crafts and other activities and a special appearance from the Cat in the Hat.

Prepare to apply for FAFSA -- Free Application for Federal Student Aid! Get step-by-step help for completing your application, including what documents you need, what to watch for, and tips on avoiding mistakes. This hands-on workshop will help you make a smooth transition to college.

Ages 14+ (Parents and guardians welcome.)
Registration is encouraged.

Presented by LKW STEM Foundation.

This program is part of San Diego Public Library's DiscoverU initiative for youth and emerging adults to explore their STEAM interests, prepare for their futures, and achieve their college and career goals.
