FRGs are command-sponsored organizations that consist of volunteers of service members onboard the ship, such as spouses, family members, and loved ones. The purpose of the CVN-71 FRG shall be to plan, coordinate, and execute informational, educational, supportive, morale-building social activities to enhance preparedness, command mission readiness, and increase the resiliency and well-being of sa
ilors, families, and loved ones.
**FRG meetings and events are THE ONLY places where schedule or location information will be disseminated by the Command's Ombudsman team, as this information CANNOT be discussed by phone, e-mail, letter, or social media per OPSEC (operational security) guidelines. Sailors and their family members will need to fill out the Ombudsman’s cloud care portal link found here: https://cloudcare.force.com/cvn71/s/

To be approved into the private FRG group, you must fill out ALL required membership questions, which includes your sailors CVN71 email address along with your preferred email address. Failure to not fill out all membership questions is an automatic denial into the group.
