Save Starlight See more - www.savestarlight.org Our Vision: Creating scalable platforms to allow a diversity of community programming previously unattainable.

Save Starlight is a non-profit organization working to restore San Diego’s historic Starlight Bowl, a 4,000 seat amphitheater that has been in operation for over 75 years located in the heart of San Diego at Balboa Park. The Save Starlight mission is to repurpose San Diego’s abandoned historic Starlight Bowl, restoring and modernizing the facility under community collaboration into an inclusive a

nd innovative interaction of arts, culture, and education for all. To serve as the world's largest outdoor live performance space that ties live performance with live streaming, recording, and professional broadcasting technologies. Making every creative aspect of performance arts from learning to doing more accessible and fun than anywhere else in the county. The Starlight Bowl was originally commissioned by Ford motor company in 1935. Since then the theater has grown and evolved over the years turning into one of San Diego’s favorite, historic and precious gems. Families of multi-generations have developed a passion and dedication to Starlight's events, sadden to see it abandoned in despair. Save Starlight will not only preserve the theater's history and memories but will also create a new and adaptable platform for future events and generations. Serving the park, serving the community
Save Starlight is a 501(c)3 non-profit

The Memphis Soul Band had folks up and dancing last night at Twilight in the Park. Was a beautiful evening for enjoying a free concert in the park at the beautiful organ pavilion. What a fine 45 year tradition.
