This 4x4 powerhouse is a game-changer for the community, specifically designed to navigate the difficult terrain of the San Diego River bed and protect sensitive riparian habitats. San Diego Regional Fire Foundation Provides Needed Equipment for Imperial Beach First Responders

Using funds provided by the San Diego River Conservancy, the Fire Foundation has provided the City of Imperial Beach with upgraded personal safety gear that enhances protection for lifeguards and firefighters. The Lifeguards now have 20 new Dry Suits and Firefighters have 12 new sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) and Face Masks.

The equipment will safeguard these First Responders who routinely respond to emergencies in areas affected by regional water pollution originating from the Tijuana River.

We're proud to provide this safety equipment that supports the long-term health and readiness of Imperial Beach First Responders!

These four legged landscapers helped clear dry brush in the area as part of the Community Supported Fire Fuel Reduction Project.
