A rare, behind the scenes look as USS Essex (LHD 2) makes her way into dry dock. When it comes to docking and undocking, SWRMC plays a supervisory role during these evolutions. This successful effort was due in part to a team of highly specialized engineers and Naval Officers that oversaw the docking, ensuring all calculations and block build positions were correct. One step closer to getting her delivered back to the Fleet!

SWRMC has welcomed Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Maintenance Ex*****on Teams (MET) to the organization! These teams focus on maintenance and repairs of the minimally manned LCSs. This growth is exciting news for us and allows us to expand our level of work from depot / I-level to operational level. We are thrilled to have the METs join us and enhance how we support the Fleet!
