📢 Readers and Stewards 📢 Don't forget to participate in the San Diego Library Summer Reading Challenge! Ends Aug 31st.

Do my peers remember the reading challenges in school or over the summer? Completing the list of books or even a number goal of them got you goodies, even pizza from local vendors! Well this reading challenge is open to all ages 👶👧👱🏽‍♀️🧑🏿‍🦳

I completed the challenge yesterday and stopped by my library to collect my rewards: two tickets to the Natural History museum, a coupon for my library's book sale or at a Friends of the Library sale, and a reusable utensil set! 👏👏👏

Thank you for your patience as we worked on securing the LFL and doing a couple of renovations! Stop by and check us out. 📚

What's new 🤓
📖 Paint job! The library and it's post are sparkling! ✨
📖 Shelving! We've taken a page 😚 out of fellow Stewards' books and implemented a "tall" shelf for all of those cool, big books that were so often forced to fit into the library. Now they have a home!
📖 Interior decor 🏵️ Just a touch of wallpaper really makes it pop!
📖 Updated Geocache 🗺 Happy to reinstate our little piece of treasure back to the library.

Like all Stewards, we are happy to maintain our LFL as a labor of love to our community. I really want to spotlight my dad's efforts and diligence with the library. He is the "OZ" in Library of Oz after all and seeing the neighborhood interact with his gift really brings him and our family joy. Thanks, dad! 👷
