The County of San Diego is launching the Electric Vehicle Charger Program (EVCP) with incentives available to support EV charger installation across unincorporated areas of San Diego County.

Eligible applicants—including property owners, businesses, nonprofits, multifamily housing operators, EV installers, and more—can receive funding to install publicly accessible EV chargers and help expand reliable charging access and accelerate the transition to clean transportation.

Incentives include:

🔌Up to $75,000 per DC fast charger (plus equity bonuses)

🔌Up to $5,000 per Level 2 charger (plus equity bonuses)

🔌Priority funding for sites in Equity Priority Areas

Applications for Round 1 will be accepted between June 25 and August 25.
