CASE UPDATE from , FBI - Nashville and FBI - Washington Field. As part of DOJ's Scam Center Strike Force "Disruption Week," the partnered with private industry, international law enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations and United States Secret Service to help disrupt millions of accounts used by transnational criminal organizations to target victims and steal hard-earned savings. The effort also helped identify and freeze more than $3.8 million in cryptocurrency tied to fraud schemes. 💻💰

Through strong partnerships and relentless investigative work, the FBI is helping prevent further victimization and holding fraudsters accountable.

The arrested a total of three men on charges of conspiring to provide material support to ISIS. The FBI will NEVER call or email private citizens to request they move money via wire transfer, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or prepaid cards. You can always reach out to your local field office (FBI San Diego: 858-320-1800) to confirm whether or not an email or message is actually from the FBI. And if you think you're the victim of a scam, report it to ic3.gov and local law enforcement.

was honored to host students from the Monarch School for a special day at our field office as part of the Junior Special Agent Program. This Program was established by the FBI to engage young students, particularly those in elementary school, in learning about the FBI's mission and the role of law enforcement in their communities.

Building relationships with youth early on helps create trust, connection, and opportunities to encourage healthy choices that can positively shape their future. Just as importantly, spending time with young people allows us to learn from them too – hearing about their day-to-day experiences, challenges, and perspectives helps us better understand their world and strengthen the partnership between the FBI and the community. And a day that includes a game of fetch with Zeke is always a highlight for all!
