Tomorrow we make history.
Black California's Governor Candidate Forum is happening April 29, 2026 — the anniversary of the LA Uprisings — and California's gubernatorial candidates will stand before Black voters and answer directly on the issues that shape our lives.
This is not a debate. It is an accountability session. The questions come from our communities. The answers go on the public record.
We extended invitations to every candidate running for Governor of California. The following candidates confirmed their participation:
Butch Ware () · Tom Steyer () · Matt Mahan () · Tony Thurmond () · Antonio Villaraigosa () · Ramsey Robinson () · Nancy Young ()
Housing. Education. Real Safety. Reparations. Health Equity. Democracy.
Black California has always driven change. Tonight we use electoral politics as one more tool.
Tomorrow — April 29 · 6:00–7:30pm PT · Virtual · Free
