💚 Let’s celebrate our parks together! The San Diego Parks Foundation invites everyone to the Robert Egger Sr. South Bay Recreation Center on Saturday, May 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the annual I Love My Park Day!

Please join us for a fun-filled and free day of giving back to the parks that give us so much while enjoying activities, food, golf, sports showcases, jumpers, a petting zoo and so much more!

🏊 Our Aquatics District Manager Sinthya Carranza spoke to Fox 5 News this morning to share about safety around the pool and other bodies of water during National Swim Safety Month. She also shared about the many programs our 15 City pools offer and how you can enjoy and cool off at them this summer and year round!

🛝 Work began this morning on the installation of a new play structure at the popular Fanuel Street Park in Pacific Beach on Mission Bay. In just a few weeks, visitors to the park will be able to enjoy a brand new play structure, new safety surfacing and sand play elements.

The project is a collaboration between the City of San Diego, the San Diego Parks Foundation, and , which generously donated the new equipment that they are manufacturing and installing.
