Additionally, she has served as a parent volunteer at Concordia Elementary School, where all five of her children attended. Sarah's extensive service also includes her role as a Committee Member of the Sober Living Task Force, a bi-partisan coalition of local and state elected officials, law enforcement, and community leaders who are working collaboratively to address issues related to the proliferation of sober living and recovery homes. A skilled problem solver and negotiator, Sarah champions non-partisan city solutions and fair representation. She is deeply invested in addressing issues affecting families and residents of San Clemente. Over the past nine months, Sarah has been a staunch advocate for San Clemente residents at City Council meetings, advocating for critical matters like sand replenishment, stricter laws regarding drug and alcohol rehab businesses in residential areas, and ensuring unified neighborhoods in district representation. Sarah's strategic priorities include bolstering public safety, proactive coastal erosion initiatives such as sand replenishment, and responsible development practices to preserve residential character and community well-being. She also advocates for small business prosperity and fiscal responsibility for long-term economic vitality. Sarah is dedicated to tackling issues such as homelessness while striving to maintain high-quality parks, open spaces, and public schools that reflect world-class standards.

Solving problems for San Clemente is why I’m running for City Council! It was an honor to join , , , Senator Nguyen and Elizabeth Steele, CEO New Directions for Women to discuss the 2024 report from the State Auditor’s Office addressing the Department of Health Care Services’ licensing and oversight process of residential treatment facilities.

Much work needs to be done to address the issues presented in this Audit, I am honored to be working on behalf of San Clemente’s residents towards much needed solutions. Thank you to all of these women for their advocacy on our behalf.

Hi, this is Sarah Schneider, candidate for San Clemente City Council. You may have recently seen negative mailers with my name and photo, full of misleading and distorted information. The bigger issue is who’s paying for them—an out-of-state PAC called Point of Friction, funded by large corporate donors with their own agenda, not ours. And why are they trying to influence our local election?

These outsiders don’t understand our small-town charm or our values, yet they’re pouring big money into our election to influence decisions in San Clemente. This kind of out-of-state, “dark money” funding is used to push hidden interests, not improve our community.

As a mother of five and a community advocate, I’ve always fought for our quality of life. When for-profit addiction businesses purchased homes in our neighborhood, I took action to protect our community. This is the hands-on leadership I will bring to City Council, focused on supporting public safety, safeguarding neighborhoods, and preserving our local values.

My campaign is funded by local residents—not special interests. So as you vote, please consider who truly understands and cares about San Clemente’s future. Thank you.
