🚨 Community Weather Shelter Update – Public Information Notice 🚨

Due to heater outages at the 7 Mile Wash Activity Center, TERC will be redirecting individuals seeking cold weather shelter to the Gilson Wash Activity Center for tonight.

đź”§ Repairs are expected to be completed tomorrow morning, at which time services at 7 Mile Wash are anticipated to resume.

📍 All other district weather shelters remain open and operational this evening.

Please help us share this information with anyone who may be seeking shelter tonight. Community safety is our priority.

🚨 San Carlos Apache Tribe Emergency Response Commission Update 🚨

READY – SET – GO Evacuation Notice

The Emergency Response Commission has issued a READY status in effect until 2:00 AM for the following areas:

Housing areas near the wash from Lower 7 Mile, Jurassic Park, TC Alley, White Mountain Ave, Riverside, and ending at Farmer’s Station.

A secondary precautionary READY status is also in place for: Homes south of White Rock to Utility Construction and Tarzan Valley.

🔸 READY means: Prepare now. Gather important items, medications, and pet supplies, and make sure your family is prepared to leave quickly if conditions change.

🔸 SET means: Be alert and ready to evacuate at a moment’s notice.

🔸 GO means: Evacuate immediately when directed or if you feel unsafe.

If evacuation becomes necessary, the following shelters are open and available:

🏢 Activity Center (Blue Building) in Gilson Wash

🏫 PFC Michael Noline Building in Peridot

🏛️ Burdette Hall in 7 Mile

Please stay alert for updates and instructions from tribal emergency officials. Conditions can change quickly — your safety is our priority.

~Route 6 Closed~

Flood waters have flowed over in various areas of Route 6.
Making it unsafe to cross until water recedes.

SCPD and support team are manning the roads for safety. As the weather and riad conditions change quickly. Members of TERC are assisting those in the evacuation areas.

Please help by staying off the roads, ensuring the safety of yourself, your loved ones and the first responders, and road crews.
