Grandparents have a special place in a child’s heart. Through shared stories and family traditions, they help shape cherished memories and offer the kind of wisdom that stays with us as we grow.

Today, we’re celebrating the grandparents who cheer on their little ones and inspire them to dream big. Happy National Grandparents Day! 💙

Please join us in celebrating a new chapter at First 5 San Bernardino! 💛 We’re proud to announce the appointment of Cindy Faulkner as executive director of First 5 San Bernardino.

She has been with the organization for 22 years, most recently serving as interim executive director and before that, assistant director. Cindy’s commitment to children and families extends throughout her career. She succeeds our longtime leader Karen Scott, who retired in March after 18 years as executive director. Having worked alongside Karen since 2004, Cindy brings both a deep understanding of our history and a strong vision for our future.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, our mission remains at the heart of everything we do - supporting children prenatal through age 5 and their families.

Help us congratulate Cindy in the comments! 🎉

Beach days are better when they're safe days! 🌊☀️

National Beach Day is the perfect excuse to enjoy the sunshine and practice water safety with your little ones. If you're heading to the beach, pool or splash pad, remember to stay close, keep an eye on the water and make safety part of the fun. Don't forget to pack sunscreen and hats, bring plenty of water and most importantly, designate a "Water Watcher!”
