🛟 Mildred – Lifeguard
Mildred is always attentive on deck and leads by example. Her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety help ensure our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience every day.

🏊 Ben – Swim Instructor
Ben brings energy, patience, and enthusiasm to every lesson. He is always willing to help wherever needed and works hard to build confidence in his students while making learning fun.

😊 Jazmyn – Cashier
Jazmyn greets everyone with a smile and provides outstanding customer service. Her friendly personality and willingness to assist guests help create a positive experience from the moment visitors arrive.

🛟 Water Safety Day 2026 was a huge success! 🌊

Thank you, San Bernardino! 💙 Over 500 community members joined us at Jerry Lewis Family Swim Center for an afternoon focused on water safety, drowning prevention, and family fun. ☀️🏊

From swim checks and safety demonstrations to community resources, giveaways, and activities, it was incredible to see so many families come together to learn lifesaving skills and enjoy a day at the pool.

A special thank you to our staff, volunteers, community partners, and everyone who attended. 👏 Your support helps us continue promoting water safety throughout our community and making a positive impact on local families.

We appreciate everyone who came out, participated, and helped make this event such a success. Together, we’re helping create a safer and stronger San Bernardino one swimmer at a time. 🛟💦

The 2026 Ollie McDonald Senior Showcase presents “A Royal Affair” — an artistic, fun-filled stage production featuring performers aged 50 and better who volunteer their time and talent to honor the memory of local legend Mr. Ollie McDonald.

What a great way to kick off the summer by recognizing our amazing Aquatics staff! Their hard work, dedication, and commitment do not go unnoticed. Each team member plays an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for our community. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to provide the incredible summer experience that our guests enjoy.

🌟 Cashier / Rec Aide – Janely
Janely is an incredible member of our team. Her friendly personality, positive attitude, and welcoming smile are often the first things guests see when they enter the facility. She provides excellent customer service and helps create a positive experience for everyone who visits.

🏊 Lifeguard – Gabriel
Gabriel is an outstanding lifeguard who is dedicated to keeping our patrons safe both in and around the water. His attentiveness, professionalism, and commitment to safety help create a secure and enjoyable environment for everyone at the pool.

🏅 Swim Instructor – Jesus
Jesus is one of our strongest swim instructors. He is passionate about teaching water safety while helping students build confidence and develop essential swimming skills. His dedication makes a lasting impact on every swimmer he teaches.

💙 Pool Manager – Cynthia
Cynthia is the powerhouse behind our aquatic operations. Her leadership and dedication keep the facility running smoothly each day. She ensures that daily tasks are completed, supports staff, and maintains a safe environment for both employees and guests. Her commitment is essential to the success of our program.
