Yesterday, the San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency, South Mesa Water Co, and San Bernardino Valley officially broke ground on the County Line Road Recharge Basin and Turnout Project — a major step toward water reliability for our region!

This $6.2 million project will bring imported water to the Calimesa area for the first time, providing reliable drinking water for 18,000 people and helping protect groundwater in the Yucaipa Subbasin for generations to come.

A special thank-you to Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez, Riverside County Fifth District Supervisor, for helping make this project possible by securing $3.1 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
