Donations are welcomed at all library branches. Proceeds from the sale of these items in the Central Library Bookstore and at Book Sales are donated to the library to support our community programs. Receipts for tax purposes are available.

The Friends of the San Bernardino Public Library are having a Bag Sale in the Friends’ Room on Saturday August 29, 2026 from 10 am to 4 pm. Buy a grocery bag for $3 and fill it up with your choice of books and other items.
The Friend's room is in the rear of the library near the loading dock.

Friends of the Library Book Sale will be Saturday, August 22 from 10am-4pm. Books and other items are individually priced from $.25 and up.

The Summer Reading Program is still going on until August 1! It is open to all ages 2 and up, including adults.

The Friends of the San Bernardino Public Library are having a Bag Sale in the Friends’ Room on Saturday June 6, 2026 from 10 am to 4 pm. Buy a grocery bag for $3 and fill it up with your choice of books and other items.

The Friends of the San Bernardino Public Library are planning a used Book Sale on Saturday, May 30, 2026. (Individual prices 25 cents and up). We will also have various other items for sale, such as California Mission models and collector dolls.

It will be held in the Friends’ Room located at the rear of the Norman F. Feldheym Central Library, 555 W. 6th Street in San Bernardino.
The entrance is outside at the back of the library, near the loading dock. The sale will be held from 10 am to 4 pm. Books will also be available in the Friends' sale area in the main part of the library.

Please note that the sale on May 30 is individual prices, There will be a bag sale on June 6, which is $3 to fill up a bag.
We are now able to accept payments by card as well as cash.
