Today, I called for a delay in the SAWS Rate Increase Vote. Delaying this vote is a measured and reasonable approach. Before residents are asked to pay more, SAWS should provide clear commitments, measurable outcomes, and specific timelines to address longstanding concerns. I am confident the Board and CEO will continue engaging on these concerns and return in October with a thoughtful plan of action.

As we celebrate 10 Years of Play, we thank former District 4 Councilmembers Richard Perez, Dr. Philip Cortez, Rey Saldaña, and Dr. Adriana Rocha Garcia for their vision and leadership in helping make Pearsall Park the community treasure it is today.
