Our innovative, forward-thinking Pk-12 school will be open to any curious, self-motivated learner looking for academic challenges and the option of accelerated learning. It will be located across two campuses, opening with kindergarten through 3th grades housed at the site of the former Austin Academy, 621 W Euclid Ave., and the majority of the grades, 4th through 10th, at nearby Fox Tech High Sch

ool, 637 N. Classrooms will not be defined by grade or age but instead will serve as creative centers for students of similar levels of achievement. Students will alternate between individual and collaborative learning to tackle in-depth problems that require them to apply knowledge from across multiple subjects. And because we don’t want to hamper momentum when students are on a roll with a particular project or assignment, we will forgo a bell schedule. By eliminating some of the traditional boundaries, the advanced learning academy will be a place where hearts and minds truly can soar.

We are having the best time at summer learning this year! Between the hands-on activities, building relationships with different villages, and the daily "aha!" moments, we’re proving that keeping our brains sharp can be the highlight of the summer.

A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible 3rd-grade families and wonderful volunteers! Because of your generous donations, support, and time, our 3rd Grade Yes Day was a spectacular success!

From a high-energy choice time featuring the bounce house, floor-is-lava, and a disco dance party, to an epic food court packed with pizza, Panda Express, sushi, and ice cream sundaes, our students truly got to live out their best day ever. We capped off the celebration by signing autograph books at our Chomp and Cheer and marching through the hallways for a final campus parade!

This unforgettable day was the perfect way to say a sweet "see you later" to our amazing 3rd grade gators as they wrap up their time at ALA Primary. We are so proud of everything they’ve accomplished, and we can’t wait to watch them shine as they transition to ALA Tech next year for 4th grade!

Congratulations to all of our ALA students that participated and teachers that coached events. Your hard work paid off.

Our Pre-K students took a trip to Pearsall Park to celebrate the end of a fantastic school year! There’s no better way to wrap up all our hard work than with some sunshine, water play, and big smiles.

We are so proud of how much our littlest learners have grown this year! A huge THANK YOU to all our amazing chaperones who helped us keep cool, stay safe, and have the best time. We couldn't have pulled off this perfect end-of-year celebration without your help!

We are so proud of our senior class.

A special thank you to Coach Munoz for her dedication and hard work in planning this year’s Field Day. It was a joy to see our students outside, active, and cheering each other on.

We are so grateful for the parents and community members who volunteered their time to help run the stations. Your commitment to our students makes events like this possible, and we are so lucky to have such a supportive community!

Our Kindergarteners wrapped up their final Project-Based Learning (PBL) unit with a buzz-worthy exhibition! Their driving question: How are bee and ant colonies like human communities?

The students did an amazing job sharing their expert knowledge on bees and ants, but the real highlight was their "Kinder Ambassadors" program. Our Kinder students gave the Pre-K classes a special tour of the Kinder classrooms, sharing all their secrets about what it’s really like to be a big kid in Kindergarten.

We are so proud of how they’ve grown—not just in their science knowledge, but in how they lead and care for our school community.

We are so grateful to all the families who joined us for our Student-Led Conferences last week. Seeing our students take the lead in sharing their work, reflecting on their growth, and setting goals for the future was truly inspiring.

There is something so special about watching a child take ownership of their learning journey. Thank you for your continued partnership and for showing up to celebrate your child’s hard work. It means the world to them (and to us)!
