BiblioTRIPs is the Teens Read Innovative Program for Summer sponsored by the Bexar County Public Library BiblioTech. The purpose is to promote a love of literature and reading within the social media so many teens are using today-- Instagram. Students are invited to post original art and photography in response to 6 weekly challenges with the contest hashtag to win prizes and share their love of g
reat books. Students can win $25 gift cards weekly. Any kids in Bexar County are eligible. Follow to stay up to date with the challenges. July 16- Poem; July 23- Playlist & July 30 animation. Come join us for a Celebration of Reading on Monday, August 5th at 6pm. Official Contest Rules:
Must live in Bexar County be between 13 & 19 years of age to win. All submissions must be original posts including images, art, poetry and other writing. Quotes, if applicable, are acceptable. Please state inspiration book and author. Only posts that directly respond to the challenges will be considered to win. Submissions must be entered by the date given for each challenge usually seven days long, from Wednesday to the following Tuesday unless otherwise noted. Tag posts with the relevant contest hashtag ( , , , etc.) Two winners will be identified weekly, one random and one which generated the most likes. Ties will be broken by random selection. Prizes must be picked up from BiblioTech's Pleasanton location within 30 days of award. All prize awards are subject to approval by the BiblioTech staff and Teens Read Innovate Program for Summer Librarian.
