The Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) Library is dedicated to advancing the understanding of the unique history of the Alamo and Texas and of the lives of those who experienced it. The Library is open to anyone interested in researching Texas history and genealogy. In addition to books and periodicals, the Library also has extensive collections of maps, archival materials, photographs, fine arts and prints, newspapers, sheet music, and clipping files.
