Dear Texan Family,

I am incredibly honored and excited to begin this new journey as the Assistant Principal at Bulverde Creek Elementary School. Bulverde Creek has truly become home to me over the past nine years, and I feel so fortunate to continue serving our students, staff, and families in a new role. After 17 years in education, I am passionate about building relationships, supporting teachers, and helping every child feel successful, safe, and valued at school.

Family is a very important part of my life and has shaped who I am as both a person and educator. I have a big, blended family with four of my own children and four stepchildren, all close in age, with two still in college. Being part of a large family has taught me patience, compassion, flexibility, and the importance of creating a supportive environment where everyone feels included. I look forward to continuing to build strong connections with our Bulverde Creek community and supporting students and families in this new role.

You have been so much more than an Assistant Principal—you have been a mentor, a problem-solver, a cheerleader, and a trusted friend. Whether celebrating successes, guiding us through challenges, or simply offering a kind word when it was needed most, you have left a lasting mark on all of us.

While we are sad to see you go, we are grateful for the time we have shared and the memories we have created together. Your influence will continue to be felt in the halls, classrooms, and hearts of everyone whose life you have touched.

Last Day = Kickball Day!

The pencils were down, the grades were in, and the only thing left to do was settle the most important question of the school year… who has the best kickball skills? 😎

There were big kicks, close calls, lots of laughs, and a few students who suddenly became professional athletes for the afternoon. We may not remember every score, but we’ll definitely remember the smiles, teamwork, and fun that made our last day together so special.

What a great way to KICK OFF summer! ☀️

We hope all of our 4th graders and their families have a wonderful summer filled with fun adventures, lots of laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for sharing your amazing kiddos with us this year! It has been a privilege to watch them learn, grow, and shine. Have a fantastic summer break, and we’ll see you in August! 🎉📚✏️📓🏫

Everyone parks and enters through the back. Please make sure you have a physical ID. Doors open at 7:45 a.m.

Graduation #2: Mrs. Busenlehner, Mr. Melendez and Mrs. Newton~
Everyone parks in the front and enters through the front. Please make sure you have a physical ID. Doors open at 8:50 a.m.

Dear Texan Family,
We are so excited about tomorrow's Kindergarten Graduation! What a lovely accomplishment!

All attendees for the graduation will enter through the front doors. Attendees will check in and begin lining up. Parents may enter the campus beginning at 7:30 a.m. once all of our BCE Texans are safely in their classrooms. Cafeteria doors will open at 7:50 a.m.

Our Kindergarten Class of 2026 Graduation will begin at 8:00 a.m.

What a fun day to be a 4th grader! Today, 4th grade celebrated the end of an amazing school year with a breakfast buffet-style party! From signing each other’s shirts and sharing laughs to chowing down on all the yummy food, the kids had a blast making memories together.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated items and to our wonderful parent volunteers who helped set everything up and served our kiddos. Your support means so much to us, and we truly couldn’t do it without you!

Just 2 more days of alarms before summer break officially begins! ☀️🎉
