Meet Chef Geronimo Lopez, a Caracas native with 30+ years of international kitchen experience, from luxury hotels to Michelin-starred spots across Europe, Mexico, and the U.S. 🌎

A Hotel School of Beaune grad, he's led kitchens at Botika and the Culinary Institute of America in San Antonio, and has been a food ambassador for the city since 2017.

Recognized by James Beard as an “America’s Taste Twenty” honoree, he's served as an Executive Chef for Emma Hospitality, where he developed new concepts and nurtured talent for the company’s growing portfolio

In his current role, he serves as Vice President of Culinary Operations for the San Antonio Food Bank.🍽️

From running a recognized restaurant in Texas (Healthier Champion 2024, Best Mexican Food Nomination, and Third Place for Best Co**ha in San Antonio) to gaining diverse experience in the Denver culinary scene, Chef Beyer’s work beautifully blends tradition with innovation and sustainability.

In 2025, she was a semifinalist in the Greatest Baker Competition and now serves as Master Baker at Mexico Ceaty.
