The person in this position will serve as the City's senior executive for military and veteran affairs, responsible for advancing strategic initiatives that strengthen our partnership with Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), the Department of Defense, State of Texas, and regional stakeholders. This individual will also provide executive
leadership, policy direction, and operational oversight for the Military and Veteran Affairs Department.

Due to strong potential for heavy rain and possible lightning, the City Manager’s 5K Walk & Run scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, April 4 at SeaWorld San Antonio has been postponed. Employees will receive updates via email and text (if opted in to COSA alerts).
Participant safety is our top priority. Stay tuned for a rescheduled date.
