Each fall, the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association and the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association host a local swearing-in ceremony to honor those passing the Texas 📚 Like last year, this year's event will be 💻 We want to continue our tradition of offering new lawyers in San Antonio (and their guests) the opportunity to participate in this special event, without risking anyone's health.

I am deeply saddened by this morning’s news of the passing of Judge George P. Kazen. He was the very model of a just and tempered jurist. The judiciary and our community is forever guided by his service and wisdom.
Condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. May he Rest In Peace.

The Honorable Stella Ortiz Kyle, the first female to be appointed Presiding Judge in San Antonio Municipal Court, has passed.

Dr. Kyle, then a clinical psychologist, worked with Veterans at Audie Murphy VA Hospital before getting her law degree at St. Mary’s Law (‘87), all while raising two toddlers.

May she RIP.
