“Where’s the ambulance?” 🚑

While an ambulance may still be responding, Squad 1 is often one of the first units to arrive on scene. Our crews carry advanced medical equipment, including cardiac monitors and EMS bags, so patient care can begin immediately while additional resources are on the way.

Please join us in congratulating Captain Ashley and Lieutenant Gonzales on reaching 20 years of dedicated service with the City of Terrell Hills (2006–2026).

Over the past two decades, both have shown unwavering commitment, leadership, and professionalism—serving not only as firefighters, but as mentors, role models, and pillars within our department. Their impact can be seen in the lives they’ve touched, the crews they’ve led, and the standard of excellence they continue to uphold every day.

The City of Terrell Hills Fire Department is currently accepting applications for full-time Firefighter / EMT-B positions.

If you’re already certified and looking for a department that values its people, this is a great opportunity to make a move.
