Today, the nation mourns the deaths of the nearly 3,000 victims of the terrorist attacks on America 25 years ago.

At nightfall, the Tribute in Light will light up the New York City skyline in memory of those lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

JBSA-Randolph will host its annual Retiree Appreciation Day on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Randolph Kendrick Club, honoring retirees from all branches of service and their families.

Opening Ceremony: 8:00 a.m.
Booths & Activities: Open until noon

This event is part of JBSA’s tradition of Retiree Appreciation Days (RADs), designed to connect retirees with each other, share resources, and connect with organizations offering services for the military retiree community. Meet and greet fellow retirees and their dependents. Visit resource and service booths. Network with community and military organizations.

Enjoy a day of camaraderie and appreciation for service.
