Stronger Together. Changing Lives.

This morning the Heart Gallery of South Central Texas, a program of THRU Project, was proud to be represented at the C.H.R.I.S.T. Coalition Pastors & Partners Breakfast. It brought together church, community, and state leaders with a shared commitment to supporting children and families as they navigate the child welfare system. The conversations throughout the morning highlighted the importance of collaboration, community outreach, faith, and ensuring that children and families know they are not alone. We especially appreciated hearing from community leaders and partners and participating in conversations about outreach programs for children and families and how we can continue connecting the pieces across our community.

The Heart Gallery is grateful for our continued partnership with C.H.R.I.S.T. Coalition and for their commitment to bringing churches, community organizations, and state partners together on behalf of children and families. When organizations and communities come together around a shared purpose, we can create stronger networks of support and brighter futures for the children and families we serve.

Thank you to C.H.R.I.S.T. Coalition and San Antonio For Christ Church for bringing everyone together for such a meaningful morning!

Without safe and affordable housing, pursuing a college degree or holding down a job is nearly impossible.

THRU Project’s Next Step Housing Initiative provides young adults aging out of foster care with stable, safe places to live.

The Heart Gallery of South Central Texas was represented in Victoria today!

Today, the Heart Gallery of South Central Texas, a program of THRU Project, was proud to be represented at the Frontline Resource Fair hosted by SJRC Texas – Belong at Texas A&M University–Victoria. For those who may not know, the Heart Gallery of South Central Texas serves 28 counties across South Central Texas, and Victoria County is one of the communities we are proud to serve!

The Frontline Resource Fair brought together community organizations and resources that support frontline staff, DFPS, CASA, and others who work every day on behalf of children and families. We are grateful for opportunities like this to share the mission of the Heart Gallery, connect with our community partners, and continue strengthening relationships throughout the region. Collaboration is an important part of helping children and youth in foster care find permanency, connection, and loving families.

A special thank you to SJRC Texas – Belong and Nicole Nguyen, SJRC Belong Regional Director-East for hosting and bringing so many wonderful community partners together.
