📌 Suspense List Update
Many voters were recently added to the Suspense List due to our mass mailing. Voter registration cards cannot be forwarded, so any undeliverable cards are returned to our office. When that happens, state law requires the voter’s record to be placed in suspense. This often affects voters who have moved, changed mailing addresses, or have USPS mail forwarding.
If you’re on the Suspense List, you can:
• Complete a Statement of Residence when voting, or
• Submit a new voter registration application by October 5 to update your record before the election.
This process follows Texas Election Code Section 15.081 and is not a clerical error.
If you have questions, I’m happy to help.
