In Texas, we're all too familiar with how school vouchers are siphoning taxpayer dollars from public schools, but after the budget reconciliation bill, H.R. 1, passed last summer, the first national tax-credit voucher program is now threatening to weaken public education further and divert billions of dollars to private and religious schools.
