Appraisal Districts were established in each county in Texas in 1981 to appraise each property at fair market value as of January 1 of each year for ad valorem tax purposes. Applications close tomorrow, May 29, for the open Bexar Central Appraisal District Board of Directors seat.

To be eligible, applicants must:
▪️ Be a Bexar County resident for at least 2 years
▪️ Be current on all property taxes
▪️ Meet the requirements of the Texas Property Tax Code and Texas Election Code §141.001

This is an uncompensated volunteer position with a term that expires on December 31, 2026.
