June is Men's Health Month, making it an important time to recognize that mental health affects everyone.
Many men grow up receiving messages that they should be strong, self-reliant, or handle challenges on their own. These expectations can make it difficult to talk about emotions, ask for help, or seek support after experiencing trauma.
Mental health struggles do not discriminate. Men experience anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and stress just like anyone else. Seeking support is not a sign of weakness—it is a sign of courage.
For male survivors, finding a safe and supportive space to connect with others who understand can be an important step in the healing process.
