Previously known as the International Relations Office, San Antonio's Global Engagement Office (GEO) is the face of our city internationally. The office is charged with establishing and maintaining relationships abroad, including our 11 Sister Cities and 3 Friendship Cities. The Global Engagement Office serves the citizens first and foremost, but also provides protocol and logistical support to th

e Mayor and City Council for their international initiatives. In addition to maintaining relationships for the City abroad, the Global Engagement Office works closely with all of San Antonio's chambers of commerce and cultural organizations to enrich their programs and grow the city's international outlook.
