A Flood Watch is in effect for South Central Texas from 7 PM this evening through 7 PM Tuesday, June 16. Heavy rain and lightning are expected with isolated pockets of more than 8 inches of rain possible. This rain may fall quickly in torrential downpours. Life threatening flooding is possible somewhere within the Flood Watch area. Stay weather aware and remember: turn around, don't drown.

Expect a hot and humid Sunday across South-Central Texas with highs in the 90s and scattered afternoon storms. Multiple waves of rain and storms are expected through Monday night and into Tuesday, bringing general totals of 1–3 inches, with isolated pockets of 6+ inches possible. A Level 2 of 4 for excessive rainfall covers most of South-Central Texas for both days, meaning locally heavy rain could quickly lead to instances of flash flooding. Stay weather aware.

Warm and breezy today with highs in the upper 80s to mid-90s. Highest wind gusts will be out west along the Rio Grande. Spotty morning showers will give way to a few isolated afternoon showers or storms. Early summer heat with humid conditions will continue into the weekend with a spike in rain chances on the way for early next week.
