Because the museum is still under construction, the walkthrough will include five floors with no elevator currently available. Please wear closed-toe, comfortable shoes and be prepared for stairs. 👞 👟 🥾

This is a rare opportunity to experience the project while it’s still being built and see history in progress before the doors officially open.

Today, we honor Juneteenth, not only as a celebration of freedom, but as a reminder of the resilience, innovation, and economic power that have always existed within our communities.

From the deep roots of Black history here in San Antonio to the enduring legacy of Black Wall Street in Tulsa, we remember those who built businesses, created opportunities, and laid foundations for future generations despite tremendous obstacles.

Juneteenth began in Texas, but its meaning reaches far beyond a single day in history. It is a call to continue building, investing, supporting one another, and creating pathways for future generations.

As the Alamo City Black Chamber of Commerce enters a new chapter, we are proud to help amplify Black businesses, strengthen economic opportunities, and bring our community together around a shared vision for growth and prosperity.

This is more than a celebration.

This is a call to action.
