Join us in congratulating PSO Supervisor Brian De Santiago, PSO Supervisor Jamie Ramirez, and PSO Elena Sloan on successfully completing the International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA) Police Cyclist Course!

The addition of three IPMBA-certified cyclists further enhances our evolving security operations by providing another layer of visibility, accessibility, and engagement across our campuses. Bicycle patrols allow officers to cover areas efficiently, increase positive interactions with our campus community, and serve as a highly visible security presence that supports our overall mission of maintaining a safe and secure environment💙

We are proud of their hard work and commitment to protecting our Roadrunner community!

Please join us in congratulating Sgt. Charles Reyes for being recognized as the May Employee of the Month!

Sgt. Reyes is being recognized for his exceptional leadership while serving in an acting Patrol Command role for over a month, where he performed far beyond his experience level and handled many difficult challenges. Despite having less than 2 years as a Patrol Sergeant, he successfully led the division, maintained 2nd Shift operations, and earned widespread praise for his composure, decision-making, and professionalism. His outstanding performance highlights his leadership abilities and strong work ethic.

Thank you Sgt. Reyes for your leadership and hard work to keep our Roadrunner community safe!

Today, Sergeant Eric Weber, better known as "Sgt. Sassy," had the opportunity to teach Body-Worn Camera procedures and best practices to the UT System Police Academy Class 108 cadets. As future law enforcement professionals, these cadets are learning the importance of transparency, accountability, and professionalism in every interaction.

To make the day even sweeter, Sgt. Sassy celebrated National Doughnut Day by bringing doughnuts for the cadets to enjoy after class. A little sugar goes a long way after a day of learning!

Good luck to Academy Class 108 as they continue their training and prepare for careers in public service!
