🔥 TX EMTF Continues Supporting Response and Recovery Operations Across Texas

The Texas Emergency Medical Task Force remains actively engaged in wildland fire response operations across the state, with resources supporting the Ross Fire, Half Section Fire, and Kurk Fire, while additional teams remain positioned to respond as needs change.

As wildfire operations evolve, TX EMTF continues to adapt its statewide response posture. Wildland Fire Support Teams, Rapid Extraction Module Support personnel, medical leadership, and other specialized resources are working to protect the health and safety of firefighters and responders in the field.

Beyond the wildfire mission, TX EMTF continues to provide ambulance support in Kerr County as part of ongoing flood recovery efforts.

Whether supporting firefighters on the fireline or communities working toward recovery, TX EMTF members remain ready to serve wherever they are needed.

🔥🌀 TX EMTF Continues Wildfire Response While Preparing for Tropical Storm Edouard

The Texas Emergency Medical Task Force remains actively engaged in wildland fire response operations across Texas, including continued support of the Ross Fire, as additional teams respond to new fires across the state.

With multiple incidents requiring support, TX EMTF personnel and specialized medical resources are being deployed and repositioned to help protect the health and safety of firefighters and other responders working in challenging conditions.

At the same time, TX EMTF is prepositioning resources in advance of Tropical Storm Edouard, ensuring medical capabilities are ready to support affected communities and response partners should they be needed.

From wildfires to severe weather, TX EMTF members across the state continue to demonstrate their ability to rapidly adapt, deploy, and support multiple response operations at the same time.

🔥 TX EMTF Surges Resources as Wildfire Activity Increases Across Texas

As wildfire activity increases across the state, the Texas Emergency Medical Task Force has surged additional personnel and medical resources to support firefighters and communities impacted by ongoing incidents, including the Ross Fire in Palo Pinto and Jack counties and the Rio Escondido Fire in Hamilton County.

TX EMTF Wildland Fire Support Teams and other specialized medical resources are deploying and repositioning across Texas as operational needs evolve. Our members are working alongside firefighters on the front lines, providing dedicated medical support, responder rehabilitation, and rapid access to emergency medical care in the challenging wildland environment.

The Texas Emergency Medical Task Force remains actively engaged in supporting flood response operations across the Texas Hill Country and Southwest Texas.

TX EMTF personnel continue providing emergency medical care, evacuation support, and responder assistance where Texans need it most.

🚨 TX EMTF Activated for Southwest Texas & Hill Country Flood Response
At the request of the Texas Division of Emergency Management, the Texas Emergency Medical Task Force has activated in support of ongoing flooding response operations across Southwest Texas and the Hill Country.

EMTF personnel from across Texas are providing emergency medical care, evacuation support, and deployable medical resources in support of communities impacted by flooding. Over 200 personnel from more than 60 agencies across Texas are participating in this EMTF activation.

We're honored to serve alongside our partners from the Texas Division of Emergency Management, Texas A&M Forest Service, Texas A&M Task Force 1, Texas Military Department, local emergency responders, healthcare partners, and countless volunteers working together to protect lives and support Texans during this response.

Please continue to follow guidance from local officials, avoid flooded roadways, and never drive through high water.

Multiple rounds of severe weather are expected to impact Texas over the coming days, bringing the potential for severe thunderstorms, large hail, damaging winds, and possible tornadoes across portions of the state.

In preparation for potential impacts to communities, Texas Emergency Medical Task Force personnel are activating and pre-positioning alongside the Texas Division of Emergency Management, Texas A&M Forest Service, Texas A&M Task Force 1, and Texas Parks and Wildlife. Activating personnel include members from EMTF 2, Texas Emergency Medical Task Force Region 6 and Texas EMTF 7.

We ask everyone to remain aware of changing weather conditions, monitor trusted sources for updates, and stay weather aware.
