It is a little misleading to refer to Joe Straus as "national GOP support". Nevertheless, this is the first election in the nation for 2016. A Republican win by the SAEN endorsed Lujan would mean a Republican pick up in a district that might be hard to win back for Democrats in November. Should be an interesting runoff!

Republicans hope businessman John Lujan can put Texas House District 118 into the party's win column, but the seat remains the Democrats' to lose.
