🎉 Summer Classes Offered Through Community Education! 🎉
Community Education is excited to offer two sponsor-funded youth classes and one sponsor-funded adult class this summer!
Registration is first come, first served. Space is limited to the first 20 participants in each class.
Youth Classes (Kinder–5th Grade)
🏀 Committed Sports – Basketball Mini Camp
Dates: June 22–26
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Wetmore Elementary
Open to students in Kinder through 5th Grade
Limited to the first 20 youth participants
🧘 Minnie's Little Yogis – Yoga Mini Camp
Dates: June 15–19
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Wetmore Elementary
Open to students in Kinder through 5th Grade
Limited to the first 20 youth participants
Adult Class (Ages 18+)
🎨 My Art Starz – Adult Art Class
Date: June 23
Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: Community Learning Center, 8750 Tesoro Drive, San Antonio, TX 78217
Open to adults 18 years and older
Limited to the first 20 adult participants

What a way to wrap up an incredible school year at Olmos! 🎉💙

Our final week was filled with celebrations, smiles, and special moments as we recognized students with perfect attendance ALL year, honored staff members for their years of dedicated service, celebrated our staff bookmark design contest staff winner, and wished our departing staff members all the best on their new adventures. 🤗

Students also enjoyed exciting P.E. Fun Days, cozy Pajama Day, and plenty of opportunities to make lasting memories with friends and teachers❣️

Thank you to our amazing students, families, and staff for making the 2025–2026 school year one to remember. 🤩

Our friendly SAPD school crossing guard, Mr. Castillo, helped kick off the last day of school with a "Happy Last Day of School!" banner and plenty of smiles for our Owls! 🦺💛

After a year of helping students safely cross the street each day, he made sure to send everyone off to summer in style. ☀️😎

Why was the crossing guard so excited today? Because summer was waiting on the other side! 🤣

🎓💙A special moment from today’s 5th Grade Graduation Ceremony… our Student Council President, Alison, delivered a beautiful and meaningful speech to her fellow classmates, encouraging them to dream big, seek greater things, and look forward to all the opportunities waiting for them in middle school and beyond❣️✨

Her thoughtful words perfectly captured the heart of this incredible graduating class, and we could not be more proud of her and all of our Olmos Owl graduates. 🥰 Their futures are bright, and this is only the beginning! 🌟

✨🎓 Today we celebrated a truly special group of Olmos Owls at our 5th Grade Graduation Ceremony! 🎓✨

For many of these students, Olmos has been their home away from home for the past six years since Kindergarten. Today was filled with awards, proud families, overflowing applause, hugs, laughter, cherished memories, and definitely a few tears. 🥹 We are incredibly proud of all this class has accomplished and of the kind, talented, and determined young people they have become❣️

As our Owls spread their wings and head off to middle school, we hope they always remember that they are capable of amazing things. What seems impossible becomes possible when you are an Olmos Owl. 🦉💙
