As we commemorate 25 years after 9/11, we recognize the important role that Louisiana played in the aftermath of that fateful day. President George W. Bush gave a public speech at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana only hours after the attack. We are deeply humbled to be here connecting with everyone, and we hope you all take care of one another today.

Nine concerts. More than 2,500 miles. One incredible celebration.

Last month, we hit the road to celebrate America's 250th birthday, bringing patriotism and the spirit of service to communities across the country. From the first rehearsal to the final encore, our show "America at 250" was about more than beautiful music - it was about the people we met, the stories we shared, and the freedoms we celebrate together.

August is a busy month for ceremonies here at JBSA so our public schedule may be a little light, but we will be back on the road in September. Until then, make sure to catch our Clarinet Quintet performing at KMFA in Austin!

4th of July might be over, but we're celebrating Freedom 250 all year! We had such a blast this last week getting ready to perform for Texas Bandmasters Association 2026, made even more special by our friends joining us from the 323d Army Band "Fort Sam's Own" , Navy Band Southeast, United States Coast Guard Band, and U.S. Marine Corps Fleet Bands, First Marine Division. For most of us this was the first and last time we will get to experience a joint force concert and I can't emphasize enough how unique this opportunity was!
